In 1985, at Rulfs Orchard, a dream began with one small wooden greenhouse, not built tall enough in height for the person with the dream. Another greenhouse was built and from that point on the "seed" grew. Each year we grow as our plants grow. We now have 7 greenhouses, with another to be built in the near future.

We start planting seeds in January and then transplanting starts in February and continues through June. Each greenhouse becomes a palette of color filled with hanging baskets designed and planted on the premises. Annuals, herbs, and roses line the benches.

We are a certified Proven Winner Source and also have a vast assortment of perennials zoned for the area. We have shrubs and trees from May until November - apple trees, fruit trees and berry bushes.

We offer a full line of vegetable plants; this includes six packs, single plants, and patio pots. The line includes herbs and heirloom tomatoes and if we don't have it, we'll plant it for you. We now plant a grab-n-go veggie pack, this includes a variety of herbs and veggies for that one customer that only needs "a little bit of each."

It's an experience to walk through the grounds and greenhouses to simply enjoy the beauty. In the Fall, our hardy mums are ready to go - with a wave of Fall colors.

On site, we have cedar mulch including the colors of black, red and natural. Topsoil and composted manure are also available to be picked up by our customers or to be delivered to your home and/or business.

We're very excited to offer advice for the new planter and we hope to have soil and water testing available soon. Our new raised beds will help show the customer "how to plant." We are here to help and give advice and to become a partner in planting your gardens and beautifying your home and business.

The staff at Rulfs are experienced and here to advise and help "from seed to the ending plant." We can help at the greenhouse or go to your home or business. The landscaping services at Rulfs started with one planter and grew to landscaping homes and businesses. We are excited and enthusiastic about our plants and hope to bring that excitement to our customers.
