Now Hiring: Full-Time General Laborer

With all this snow we are thinking ahead to greenhouse season! Could you be a good fit for the Rulfs team? Rulfs Orchard is now accepting applications for a full-time General Laborer position.

Hours are 7 am to 4 pm and the days of the week will vary; must be available most weekends.
Applications can be filled out in our retail store, or downloaded from HERE and dropped off to the store.  
Pay will be based on experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Delivery Driver as needed; produce, firewood, mulch, etc.
• Assists in loading mulch, topsoil, etc. during the spring/summer
• Field work
  Greenhouse Department; mix soil, fill pots, move plants, water plants, etc. Assists customers when asked
• Ensures firewood and straw are in front of the store for resale
• Stacks firewood
• Uses a forklift to help unload deliveries from vendors
• Press cider as needed
• Building and vehicle maintenance as needed
  Driving farm equipment; tractors, loaders, dump truck, box truck, etc.
• Any general job asked of you

‍Requirements:

• Applicant must have a valid NYS driver’s license
• Applicant must be willing to learn how to press cider
• Applicant must have some experience driving farm equipment
